Om mig
I built my career in tech over 17+ years at Nokia, Apple, KAYAK, momondo, SYBO, and Labster, growing from QA to Engineering Director and leading a 45-person multi-national, distributed department through a merger and restructuring. Change shaped every role: mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and rapid scaling. I experienced it as an employee and as the leader implementing it. I have known big successes, burnout, recovery, and career shifts.
Originally from Poland, I have also spent 20 years as an expat, building my career across Finland, Ireland, and Denmark. Together with my master’s degree in Cultural Studies, this gives me a grounded understanding of what life and work abroad really involve: building a career in a second culture, decoding unwritten rules, and carrying the extra load that comes with being far from home. I co-founded and host ICF Denmark Internationals, a professional community for internationally minded coaches in Denmark.
Coaching tilgang og erfaring
I work with international professionals across tech, product, and R&D, including engineers, product managers, designers, data specialists, and the people who lead them, from team leads to directors. Ambitious, high-achieving people often break under the weight of their own expectations, their perfectionism, and the habit of pushing past their limits. My clients trust me because I have lived that pattern myself. At wabi-lab, I help clients prevent burnout and lead in a way they can sustain. A thread of wabi-sabi philosophy runs through my coaching, a Japanese view that finds beauty and meaning in imperfection, impermanence, and simplicity. It gives high performers room to let go of the flawless version of themselves and build something steadier. I am an APMG-certified Change Manager and an Erickson Certified Professional Coach, with additional training in working with burnout in coaching, and I bring Positive Intelligence (PQ) elements into my sessions to help clients quiet their inner critic. My method follows the ICF Code of Ethics and Core Competencies, and my coaching has been verified at PCC level in an oral assessment while I collect hours toward PCC certification. You can also find me on stages of Copenhagen events speaking about burnout prevention, running leadership workshops and leading a course on People-Centric Leadership Skills for the AI Era - offered to both individuals and organizations. Recently I have started working with AI consultancy using my tech background.
